Spain: The Most Popular Travel Destination In Europe

Spain

We loved Spain! What’s not to love, right? With its rich and interesting history, amazing architecture, exotic people, awesome food, beaches, and relatively low cost of living, Spain is one of the best countries in Europe to visit… or to even move.

Located in the far south-west of Europe, on the Iberian Peninsula, it has a rich culture, and so many beautiful cities to visit.

When we started planning for Spain we wanted to visit several cities.

Barcelona was top of the list.

Also on our bucket list was the palace complex of Alhambra in Granada! We had heard so much about it.

We had also heard and read so much about Cordoba and Seville. So those got added on to the list as well.

So finally, we decided on Barcelona, Granada, Cordoba and Seville.

They are also fairly easy to get to from one city to another. Even though we wanted to see Madrid as well, we decided to skip it for now. Hopefully, another time.

We stayed 4 nights in Barcelona. From there, we flew to Granada. From Granada to Cordoba was a 2 hours and 45 minutes bus journey. From Cordoba to Seville took an hour and 25 minutes by train.
